SABF 2018 Programme

South African Book Fair 2018
7–9 September, Newtown Precinct, Johannesburg

Come share and celebrate #OURSTORIES.

Featuring a host of newcomers, well-known local writers and journalists engaged in inspiring discussions and fiery debates on current issues, politics, publishing, African superheroes, literature, African philosophy and more.

Our Keorapetse Kgositsile Poetry Café*, a pop-up poetry platform, will captivate you with interweaving verse, image, story, performance and song while the Author’s Corner will offer support to aspirant writers. Children will be entertained by storytellers in the Magic Tent and a delightful production of The Little Prince will run daily at the Market Theatre.

Meet experts from the book publishing industry ready to assist with learning, teaching support materials, of the best research from university presses, plus an array of books for all ages. Enjoy a wealth of literature for leisure and knowledge, as well as personal and spiritual development at this year’s South African Book Fair.

ENTRANCE TO THE EXHIBITION, MAGIC TENT AND POETRY CAFÉ ARE FREE.

Tickets for the SABF 2018 Programme are available on Webtickets from as little as R40.00
